An Extremely Simple Recipe With An Extraordinary Taste!
This recipe is for those of you trying to brave the cold weather this winter while also looking to have some relaxing fun! Ingredients:
1 Gallon of Apple Cider
1 Orange (Cut into Fourths)
4 Cinnamon Sticks
5 Cored Cubed / Sliced Apples (We Recommend Using Tasty & Imperfect™ Honeycrisp, Fuji or Gala Apples!)
2 Cups of Spiced Rum
1 Tablespoon of Allspice Berries
Instructions:
Step 1
Add your ingredients (Apple Cider, Orange Slices, Cinnamon Sticks, All Spice Berries) to a slow cooker, or crock-pot. Place slow cooker setting on high and cover. Let this sit for about an hour, or until you see the mixture start to steam.
Step 2
After an hour, or when you notice your mixture is steaming, change the heat setting from high to warm. Next, add the cubed/sliced apples and rum to the slow cooker and stir well. Let this sit for about 5 minutes or until it is the desired temperature.
Step 3
Transfer your Spiked Apple Cider to mugs or cups, add a cinnamon stick for garnish and enjoy!
